A 33-year-old from St. Thomas is facing charges after a person assaulted a police officer during a wellness check, police say.
Residents at an Exeter apartment building were being asked to stay inside while police dealt with a “person in crisis” Monday morning.
The man is in custody in another jurisdiction and was charged by warrant, police said.
