The London Nationals and St. Marys Lincolns meet in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Western conference final starting Wednesday night at Western Fair.

The path to the second round of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League’s Western Conference playoffs included some early lopsided wins.

The No. 1-ranked London Nationals opened the GOJHL Jr. B hockey playoffs against the No. 8 Komoka Kings on Wednesday night and it was the Kings who drew first blood in the best-of-seven series with a 4-1 win.

The London Nationals surprised a lot of people this season in contending for first place.
