A Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League team of under-18 players captured the 39th St. Andrew’s College MacPherson Tournament title this past weekend. The GOJHL squad finished 4-1 and avenged their only defeat with a 2-0 shutout of Northwood School (Lake Placid, N.Y) in the gold-medal final Sunday in Aurora. London Nationals forward Sam O’Reilly, a Knights prospect, scored two goals and four points in five games and joined Nats defenceman Tanner Winegard on the winning roster. Londoner Brennan Faulkner of the Strathroy Rockets led the GOJHL team with four goals and Hamilton goaltender David Egorov earned MVP honours by allowing a single goal in three games.
