Reader to Reader: September 23, 2023

After being house-bound by a bad fall, I went grocery shopping. For some unknown reason, my credit card wouldn't go through. The cashier and the lady behind me both tried. The lady behind me then paid for my groceries. I asked for her phone number to reimburse her, but she refused.
