Councillors need to maintain a vision for the future and keep in mind it is insufficient merely to keep us safe; they must also build a city that is livable, and in which people want to live. The police budget may need a boost, but there are other dramatically underfunded services, such as transit and the library, which are just as essential. Far from "nice-to-have" services, these are what makes London a community, a desirable place to live, and a desirable place to build a business. Read More
